Topic: God's protection
Text: Psalm 91:1-16

A story was told of a community that was expecting rain one day as told them by people of God. That same day, they had general meeting. All left home as usual. But a surprising thing happened. A young child took an umbrella while others didn't. That was Faith. Total dependency on God that it will rain. And it did rain heavily. That is how we should trust God.

The Almighty God has so great things ready to keep us out reach from the hands of them that want us to die. He has prepared everything. It is more than a promise but a laid covenant He is making.

From verse 3 to verse 16, talks about the protective power of God and how He is going to protect us.

But for these protection to come to be, we must do something. (It doesn't come on a platter). We must have to look into verse 1 very well.

Verse 1 says;
He that dwell in the secret place
of the most high shall shall abide
under the shadow of the Almighty.
-Psalm 91:1

We must have to dwell in the secret place of God.

Let's imagine this; if there is going to be a rain, and you are outside the street. If you imagine a house to cover you, does that prevent the rain from wetting you? "NO".
It is until you run to that house, then you are shilded.
Same in this case, until you dwell in God's secret place.

How to dwell in God's secret place
Psalm 24:3,4,5

Who shall ascend into the hill
of the LORD? or who shall stand
in his holy place? He that hath
clean hands, and a pure heart; who
hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity,
nor sworn deceitfully. He shall
receive the blessing from the LORD,
and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
Psalm 24:3-5

Who shall ascend into the Hill of the Lord? Or who shall stand in His holy place?
He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

This passage fulfills the condition of dwelling with God. So long your hands are off evil and you Believe on Jesus, you are dwelling in the secret place of the most high.
Remove yourself from all evil (1Thess 5:22) and confess Christ then enjoy the fullness of His protection.

Daily confession: Only In Him I can stay unharmed
