DOES GOD HATE SINNERS OR LOVE THEM?

DOES GOD HATE SINNERS OR LOVE THEM?
Several questions have been on some minds wanting to know if God hates or love sinners.
The answer is HE LOVES THEM!

God is the creator of man and he loves His wonderful and beautiful creatures. From the onset, He visits Adam daily and life was very beautiful until sin came and put forward separation between man and God. (Gen 3:8)

God loves everyone including sinners and that is why He sent Jesus to die in other to bridge the gap between humans and Himself.

But God HATES sin. Isaiah 59:2 says
“But your iniquities have separated you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear”.

Any that has sin is not God’s friend but God does not hate him as a person.
“…know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God?” (James 4:4)

The sinning Gentile world and God’s wrath (Romans 1:1-32)
Paul explained that he was called out of the mercy of God to become His servant (through the Holy Ghost). He had great passion for the Roman church. He showed it by praying for them and trying hard as to visit them to impact spiritual gift to them.

"Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to
be an apostle, separated unto the gospel,
(which he had promised afore by His prophets
in the holy scriptures,)"
(Romans 1:1-2)

Paul’s intention was to take the gospel of Christ to everyone in Rome (both the Jews and the Gentile world).
There was great iniquity amidst the Jews and the gentile world and God is really unhappy with any that lives in sin. The world we are living in today has degraded morally and has forgotten about God because of wrong policies and erroneous teaching of many.
Despite the fact that God his only begotten Son to die, many has not chosen the path of righteousness.
But God is calling out to everyone to change from his or her wrong doing and turn unto Him

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and
are heavy laden, and I will give you rest"
(Matthew 11:28)

In this epistle of Paul to the Romans, you would note this in this chapter
  • Verse 18; If any is into unrighteousness and ungodliness of any sort, the wrath of God is upon him
  • The world has no excuse because they see and know who God is even by His power through what is made (verse 20).
At what God did and love he showed the whole world, they rather serve idols. The world is so disobedient to God the extent God gave up on them and they are left to do what seems good in their eyes.
You would see lesbians, gay, backbiters, boaster fornication, wickedness, unforgiving malignity, whisperers and the list goes on.
It is because of people’s behavior that God left them to their choices

"For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections:
for even their women did change the natural use into
that which is against nature…"
(Romans 1:26-32)

All these does not make God change his mind toward the god people. He will surely punish the wicked.
Lessons
  1.  God’s mercy saves sinners
  2.  God is angry at all unrighteousness
  3. If you strive with God, He leave you to your opinion ( he leaves people to their choices)
