Gospel errors you must run from

There are so many errors today being taught to the children of God in churches. These errors have cause lots of harm today and making people to deviate from the word of truth, The BIBLE.

Many have believed on these lies and have no place for the bible.

The false teaching are:

• Eternal security
• Divorce
• Same sex marriage
• Forbidden to marry (Celibacy)
• Purgatory
• Abstaining from meat
• Infant baptism

1. Eternal security:

It in taught in some assemblies and believed today that "once saved, you are forever saved". That is to to say, so long you have given your life and confessed you love Christ, you are forever saved. It doesn't matter the things you do. Just live your life as you want. You will go to heaven.

That's a big error. 2 Thess. 5:22 says "abstain from all appearances of evil". It means you can't live anyhow you want.

1John 3:8-10 warns seriously about sinning. He that is born again doth not commit sin. For whoso sinneth is of the devil.

That means if you become born again, it should be a daily renewing process of never sinning. And when u sin, you cry for forgiveness immediately.

2. Divorce

Many has approved divorce also, on what base I can't tell. This has made some men to divorce and remarried saying its not bad.

But the Lord is against it. The Lord started marriage with one man one wife, and what God has joined together, no man should asunder. (Matthew 19:3-9).

Throwing your wife or husband away for another is adultery.

3. Same sex marriage

This is approved in some churches and in some countries.

God is against it. Romans 1:26-32.

4. Forbidden to marry (Celibacy)

Many said if you have to serve God best, you must remain single.

 This is not correct. God said "...it is not good that the man should be alone..." (Genesis 2:18). Proverbs 18:22 says "whoso finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favour of the Lord".

They say Paul didn't marry and he said its best not to.

But what Paul was just suggesting (He was not commanded by God to say) and said is (1 Cor. 7:6,7-9) "for I would that all men were even is me...for it is better to marry than to burn."

Its wrong to make it a law and put people in "LUST" problem.

5. Purgatory

Purgatory is a place of suffering and pain believed by some Christians that sinners would go there after death to be purified afterwards can go to heaven. Sinners would go there, be punished for some times (could be years or months) for their sins for them to go to heaven. It is also believed that people on earth can enhance their purification by praying and working on their behalf.

This is not true. Hebrews 9:27 says " for it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this judgment". A dead sinner has no place in heaven. 2 Cor. 5:10, Rev 20:15 talk about it.

6. Abstaining from meat

Abstaining from meat or any kind of food is a choice. Nothing spiritual is attached. (1 Corinthians 8:8)

No law in Christ forbids eating of meat in any specific time or type of meat. Christ has given us liberty (Galatians 5:1) but this liberty should not bring sin (1 Cor. 8:9)

7. Infant baptism

Children today are being baptized at infant. Its not scriptural.

Mark 16:16 says "He that believes and is baptized shall be saved..."

Baptism means identifying with Christ. It is when one confesses his sin that he can be baptized. Children do not know anything so that baptism is wrong and not count

(Luke 3:7, Acts 18:8; 19:3 etc)
